On Thursday night at a glittering ceremony at The Dorchester Hotel, the Team Unicorn World Champion won four awards on a night to remember.
Just three weeks after his breathtaking World Championship victory when he beat Phil Taylor by 7 sets to 6 at the Alexandra Palace, the Scot was again sitting on top of the world of darts.
He was named Player of the Year, Players Player of the Year, Fans Player of the Year and Pro Tour Player of the Year!
It was quite a night.
"I am honoured and humbled," he said. "I honestly never expected this. I am still taking it all in after winning the World Championship, so these awards make it very special."
"It means so much to be honoured by the darts fans around the world and by my peers. I am a bit embarrassed."
Anderson took over 60% of the vote in both the Fans Award and the PDPA Players Award.
The Pro Tour gong was his reward for winning seven tournaments in 2014.
And he was always the big favourite to win the prestigious Player of the Year award after his dramatic World Championship success.
It was a big night for Team Unicorn all round.
PDC Unicorn World Youth Champion Keegan Brown won the Young Player of the Year Award.....he really made a name for himself with his performances at the Grand Slam and the World Championship. Fellow Unicorn star Michael Smith was also nominated.
And James Wade won the award for Televised Performance of the Year. We all remember his amazing comeback at The Masters in Edinburgh. The Unicorn ace coming from 9-2 down to beat Mervyn King 11-10 in the final.
The final award went to Stephen Bunting who was named PDC Newcomer of the Year after a brilliant debut season.
